World Kangaroo Day is October 24th. It was created in 2020 to celebrate and bring awareness to these intelligent, sentient beings. Our own Kasey was select as our mascot in the 1930s after students were inspired by a baby kangaroo exhibit at the Kansas City Zoo.

We will be honoring Kasey by sharing fun facts about kangaroos on hidden items throughout both the Volker and Health Sciences campus on October 24th. Keep your eyes peeled!
When you find a fact, stop by either the HR office in the Administrative Center RM 226 at the Volker campus or the 1st floor entry way of the Health Sciences Building (facing the School of Medical) on the Health Sciences campus to collect your prize.
The facts will be on brightly colored tags that you can't miss!
