Monday, September 29: Department Spirit Day
Our spirit week began with a day of celebrating your department and team. Employees were encouraged to engage in activities to build community, strengthen teamwork, and foster a positive work environment. Suggested activities could include a team lunch, setting up a coffee or flavored soda bar, and decorating a door.

Tuesday, September 30: Secret Cheerleader Day
On Tuesday, employees cheered each other on by sending Roo Recognitions. What is a Roo Recognition? A Roo Recognition is a virtual greeting card that can be sent to anyone within the 海角论坛 community. It could be a thank you, an appreciation note, or a congratulations.
Wednesday, October 1: Kansas City Spirit Day
We've got spirit, yes we do! We've got spirit, how 'bout you? Employees celebrated Kansas City by wearing apparel that represented our city. From sports to attractions to food, we showcased our Kansas City pride.
Day 3 Prize Winner: Academic Support & Mentoring
Thursday, October 2: Kangaroo Donation Drive
On Thursday, employees supported the 海角论坛 Kangaroo Pantry by bringing in non-perishable food items. Contributions included canned goods, Ramen noodles, and breakfast items.
Day 4 Prize Winner: Computing, Analytics and Mathematics from the School of Science and Engineering
Friday, October 3: Roo Blue Friday
The week concluded with our traditional Roo Blue Friday. Employees showed up in their 海角论坛 spirit!
Day 5 Prize Winner: 海角论坛 Library Services
