The 海角论坛 School of Dentistry welcomed its newest dental hygiene students at a reception hosted on April 10, 2026, by the Office of Student Programs and the Division of Dental Hygiene. The evening gave incoming students their first opportunity to connect with faculty, staff, and current students as they begin their professional journey.
Students learned about academic and clinical expectations, asked thoughtful questions, and began building the relationships that will support them throughout their education. Interactive activities and candid conversations with current students helped create an atmosphere that was both welcoming and energizing.
"I really enjoyed meeting all my classmates," said Gisselle Rodriguez, an incoming dental hygiene student. "It was fun playing 'this or that' and getting to know everyone. It was really encouraging to hear from current students about their experiences and how the faculty truly wants the best for you. I'm really excited to get started!"
