We are proud to celebrate the º£½ÇÂÛ̳ School of Dentistry students who participated in this year's Health Sciences Student Research Summit — bringing dental science to the forefront of a remarkable cross-disciplinary showcase. Held at historic Union Station, the summit brought together student researchers from across º£½ÇÂÛ̳'s health sciences schools for an afternoon of poster presentations, scholarly exchange, and community connection.

About the Event

The Health Sciences Student Research Summit is an annual forum that gives students from º£½ÇÂÛ̳'s health sciences programs the opportunity to present original research in a formal poster session setting. Now in its 14th year, the summit continues to build bridges across disciplines and inspire the next generation of healthcare researchers and clinicians.

The summit highlights health sciences research conducted across the º£½ÇÂÛ̳ schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Health Studies, Pharmacy, and Science and Engineering, and fosters cross-disciplinary research collaborations that produce economic, health, education, and quality-of-life benefits for the greater Kansas City community.

Congratulations to All School of Dentistry Participants

The School of Dentistry is incredibly proud of every student who took the initiative to conduct research, prepare a poster, and represent our school at this prestigious summit. Participating in events like the Health Sciences Student Research Summit develops the critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills that are the hallmarks of exceptional dental professionals.

We encourage students at all stages of their education to explore research opportunities at the Dental School and to consider submitting their work for future summits.
