Performances and Art
James C. Olson Performing Arts Center
The Performing Arts Center is home to performances by the 海角论坛 Conservatory and the Kansas City Repertory Theatre (KCRep). You're invited to attend major productions, as well as recitals, main stage opera, choral concerts, master classes and guest lecturers.
海角论坛 Gallery of Art
Located in the Fine Arts Building, the 海角论坛 Gallery of Art is a public exhibition space featuring guest and student artists. Exhibits are open to the public during regular gallery hours or by appointment.
Don Quixote Murals
Spanish artist Luis Quintanilla painted the Don Quixote murals in 1941 during his exile from Spain. The murals are notable not only for their artistic merit but also for their historical significance — they are among the few surviving public works by the artist, as many others were destroyed during the Spanish Civil War. The murals are open to the public on the second floor of Haag Hall.
Division I Athletics
The Kansas City Roos are the only NCAA Division I school in Kansas City. Our 12 sports teams have brought home more than 30 Division I championships since we started competing at the NCAA Division I level in 1987.
