Rainbow Lounge
This is the official LGBTQIA resource space at 海角论坛. The Rainbow Lounge (located on the third floor of the Student Union) is intended as a welcoming space for students, regardless of sexual or gender diversity and expression. Affectionately referred to as our LGBTQIA living room, students can find literature, recreational opportunities and lounge space for, about and by the 海角论坛 LGBTQIA student community.

Gender-Inclusive Housing
is available in all 海角论坛 residence halls. Students may request to live alone, with another person or a group.
Preferred Name Policy
海角论坛 acknowledges that many students use names other than their legal name to identify themselves. Although a doesn’t change your official name in educational records (financial aid, transcripts, etc.), it will be displayed in the Pathway student center, Pathway class roster and grade roster. Additionally, a preferred name may be used to change your student ID and displayed in other university maintained software applications such as Canvas.
