Faculty Success Program
CAFE is pleased to be able to sponsor three full-time faculty members to participate in the NCFDD Faculty Success Program during Summer 2026. This 10-week intensive mentoring experience is offered online and is designed to help faculty members increase scholarly productivity, manage time effectively, and maximize work-life balance. For additional information about the program, you can visit .
Participants in the Faculty Success Program are expected to: be self-directed and open to feedback; participate in weekly online training and small group support and accountability calls; and complete weekly homework tasks guided by their coach, among other activities.
Following completion of the program, sponsored faculty will submit a brief report to the CAFE office that reflects on the overall effectiveness of the program, the extent to which their goals were met, suggestions for ways the program could be improved, and descriptions of lessons or effective practices that should be considered at º£½ÇÂÛ̳. Alumni of the program also may be asked to share their experience with their peers.
º£½ÇÂÛ̳ Participant Testimonial
“I found the FSP program to be incredibly valuable. I solidified my understanding of strategic planning through it and applied the art to my own life. This was supported through goal setting, accountability, and instruction on how to tailor my time for my goals and strategy. I also liked the space and opportunity to take stock of my past and forecast my future in academia. My personal teaching philosophy is to be bold enough to make mistakes, and that culture of growth was underscored well in the FSP program, making it a safe place for me to learn and grow. I recommend the FSP program to any faculty member, but especially those who have traveled early academia and met, head-on, the crossroads of interest, intent and expectations.” Professor Julie Sutton
