Outreach and Volunteer Opportunities
The Staff Council Outreach Committee plans on- and off-campus volunteer opportunities for 海角论坛 staff to connect with each other and our community.
Some of our favorite outreach/volunteer traditions include:
- Collecting items for the Academic Support and Mentoring School Supply Pantry, Career Services Professional Wardrobe Studio, Lead to Read KC and more.
- Sponsoring the Blue and Gold Week Virtual 5K, benefiting the Dr. Raj Bala Agrawal Care Center.
- Promoting on-campus Community Blood Center blood drives.
- Facilitating off-campus service projects with local service agencies, including Scraps KC, Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City, Kansas City Parks and Recreation and more.
