Alternate Testing

Alternate Testing Accommodations

If your accommodation plan includes alternate testing, such as a reduced distraction testing space or extended test time, your instructors will determine who will proctor your exams, meaning who will monitor you during your exam and where you will take the exams.

Instructor-proctored testing

For instructor-proctored testing, your instructor will provide the approved accommodations outlined in your accommodation plan.

Student Accessibility Services-proctored testing

You instructor may choose to request that a member of Student Accessibility Services proctors your exams to meet the requirements in your accommodation plan. In this case, your instructor will submit your exam guidelines to Roo Access. Then, you will request an exam appointment, also through Roo Access.
