Check-in Session

Now that you have been admitted and made plans to attend 海角论坛 as an F-1 or J-1 visa holder, you must register for a check-in session before you can enroll in classes.

Attending a check-in session is required to maintain your F-1 or J-1 visa status in the United States. During the session, we will explain the rules of your visa and what to expect as a student at 海角论坛.

How to Sign Up

Use your application portal username and password to register for a check-in session that corresponds with your admission term.

Before you register, please note:

  • You must have obtained your visa before you can pre-register for a check-in session
  • You may upload a copy of your visa to your application status page at any time, or during the pre-registration process
  • Check-in sessions are held in person only. You must be in Kansas City to attend. Select a check-in date that is after your planned arrival

Prepare for Your Session

Pre-registering is just the first step. You must attend your registered session in person. Sessions are usually 90 minutes long.

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your session begins. If you arrive late, you will need to reschedule for another date.

Upload these documents to your application status page before your session:

  • Your passport or a copy of your passport biography page
